SIAMS Inspection Report 2026 – Celebrating Ilsham's Christian Vision

We are delighted to share the outcome of our most recent SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) inspection, which took place in March 2026. The report affirms that Ilsham Church of England Primary Academy is truly living out its Christian foundation, enabling pupils, staff and the wider community to grow and flourish wherever they are planted.

Inspectors recognised the school as a welcoming and inclusive community, where every child is valued, supported and nurtured to develop academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually. Our Christian vision and values are described as a lived reality, evident in the strong relationships, high expectations and compassionate culture that underpin daily life at Ilsham.

The report highlights many strengths, including our innovative approach to spirituality across the curriculum, inspiring collective worship, a well‑designed Religious Education curriculum, and the dedication of our staff in supporting every child to thrive. Inspectors also praised the sense of joy, confidence and moral strength that pupils develop as part of our school family.
